Our Movies and Munchies selection for this month is Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, hosted by Camilla of Culinary Cam. The movie has a sequel, and we can choose which one to watch. Or we could watch both. I had never watched either of them, nor had I read the book they were based on, so I chose the original movie.

Monday is our friend John's birthday. We are taking him out for Polish Food. Tuesday, Frank's sister, Roz, is coming to hang out in the pool and have dinner. On Thursday, we are hosting a Pool Party Potluck for our choir members and their families.

This pesto, originating in Sicily, certainly does not get the attention it deserves. The Sicilian version of pesto has a fresh tomato base, is full of herbs, and uses almonds instead of pine nuts. It is delicious!!!
