This Korean Chicken soup is flavored with garlic, onions, and ginger creating a flavorful broth served over freshly steamed rice.

I was inspired to make this soup after listening to the memoir Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner.

Korean Steak Tacos #ImprovCookingChallenge

Flour tortillas stuffed with slices of Flank Steak marinated in Korean flavors and grilled to perfection, topped with coleslaw dressed in additional marinade.

It's time for the Improv Cooking Challenge.........

Korean Grilled Flank Steak #BBQWeek

This post is sponsored in conjunction with #BBQWeek. The sponsors, Rainier Foods and Intensity Academy, generously provided samples to participants to aid in the creation of the #BBQWeek recipes and prize packages to give away to the readers. However, all opinions are mine alone.

Flank steak tenderized in a marinade seasoned with Gochu and grilled to a perfect medium rare.  Serve this steak with a side of rice and some stir fry veggies, dice it up and add it to a bowl or slice it up and pass the tortillas for a deliciously different taco.

Mandu and Korean Meatballs and the Weekly Menu #FoodnFlix

Every culture has it's own version of dumplings.  In Korea dumplings are called Mandu.  I used wonton wrappers instead of making the dough and filled them with a pork/beef mixture filled with veggies.  Easy and delicious.

I was inspired to make these Korean dumplings after watching the film, Always Be My Maybe, on Netflix.
