Even though it is a week later, I did ask to host this month's French Winophiles event so that we could celebrate the Allied Invasion that began the liberation of France during World War II and spread to liberate all of the countries of the Western Front.

Fresh Michigan Lake Perch dredged in a batter made with Cremant from France. This was the crispiest, tastiest fish I have ever made. Beer batter has been replaced with Cremant batter in this household.
