This delicious burger is stuffed with 2 kinds of cheese and then topped with another slice creating a wonderful taste sensation perfect for the end of season barbecues.
I was inspired to make this burger while listening to Quicksilver, a novel by Dean Koontz.
This novel, the first of a series, has me very excited. If you were a fan of Koontz's Odd Thomas Series you are going to love his new hero, Quinn Quicksilver. Haven't read Odd Thomas? You can learn about him in my farewell post.
Quinn Quicksilver was discovered abandoned as a 3 day old infant placed in the middle of a highway. He was rescued by 3 men and sent to live in a Catholic orphanage where he was raised by kind and loving nuns. Even though Quinn was a good baby, healthy and cute, he was never adopted for some reason.
As the series begins, Quinn, is at the local diner enjoying a 3 Cheese Hamburger when suddenly he is approached by a secret Government Agency that are coming to learn about his "uniqueness". Quinn has no idea what might be unique about him but he certainly isn't going to stick around and let these agents enlighten him.
As Quinn heads to find the men who first found him and perhaps glean some information, he is led to Bridget, the Moon Goddess who is destined to be his wife and her grandfather, who are also on the run from the secret agency.
During their quest to save the world as we know it, they are joined by a seer and a canine, of course, as this is a Koontz novel and there is ALWAYS a dog.
