Taco Tuesday Calzone #BreadBakers

Celebrate your next Taco Tuesday with these fun and easy Taco Calzones.  Your family will thank you.

Taco Calzone

We are making Stuffed Breads today with the folks over at Bread Bakers........
Renu of Cook With Renu invited us to share any type of Stuffed Breads.  Let's see what we baked up today........

#BreadBakers is a group of bread loving bakers who get together once a month to bake bread with a common ingredient or theme. You can see all our lovely bread by following our Pinterest board right here. Links are also updated after each event on the #BreadBakers home page. We take turns hosting each month and choosing the theme/ingredient.

Taco Calzone

To make these Calzones, I started with my Easy Weeknight Pizza Dough. It is ready to use in an hour and will give you enough dough for 4 large calzones.  While it is rising you can cook up your beef with taco seasoning.  You can use any ground meat that you want in this recipe.  After it is prepared, you can set it aside to cool.

I topped our Calzones with my home canned Zesty Peach Salsa and sour cream.  I didn't have any tomatoes or lettuce or I would have included them on the topping as well.  You can top this with your favorite taco add ons or you can just pick it up and eat it like a sandwich.
