Maple Glazed Delicata Squash

Today is the second day of the Holiday Side Dish Event.....
I'm back again with Heather of Hezzi-D's Books n Cooks celebrating Holiday Side Dishes.  Monday I shared a wonderful Sweet Potato Salad.  Today I am sharing this easy, peasy and amazing Delicata Squash recipe.  First, though, let's see what the others are sharing today.......

Wednesday Holiday Side Dish Recipes:

Maple Glazed Delicata Squash

I love squash of all kinds.  Butternut, Acorn, Spaghetti, Summer.....but my very favorite of all is Delicata Squash.  It is so sweet and tender when roasted and so easy to prepare.  This is mostly because you don't need to peel it before roasting. Simply give it a good scrub, slice it in half, remove the seeds, cut into half moons and roast.  The peel crisps up and adds to the texture of the dish.  The TEEN was so crazy about this recipe she asked me to make it again the following day.
