Happy to be Home and The Weekly Menu

We returned from an amazing whirlwind WWII tour of Germany and France on Wednesday.  We enjoyed seeing the sites of the cities.  This was interspersed with visiting the historical towns of Berlin, Nuremberg, Dacchau, and the Beaches of Normandy.

These muffins, filled with apples and bananas, are flavorful and delicious.  They make a wonderful breakfast or snack.

Strawberry Lemonade Cake #CakeSliceBakers

Tender yellow cake studded with strawberries, slathered with a lemon soak and then topped with a strawberry whipped cream frosting.  I threw on some sprinkles as it was my daughter, Jessica's, birthday cake and that calls for a celebration!
