Fish in Foil for Friday

When I was at the Farmer's Market a few weeks ago I picked up some lovely fresh caught Lake Trout.

I love Trout, it is one of my favorite fish.  I would like to share with you my favorite way to cook it. This recipe can be used with any kind of fish that you like.

Place a fish fillet, skin side down, upon a large sheet of foil.
Sprinkle with Lemon Pepper seasoning.
Top with sliced onion and tomato.
Fold the foil together, lengthwise over the fish and fold the top together.
Fold the ends together so that the fish is enveloped in the foil.
Place the foil packet on a hot grill, folded side up.
Grill for 15-20 minutes depending on the thickness of the fillets.

Enjoy!!

  1. I love trout too...but only at a restaurant. I am not big into cooking fish.

    1. It doesn't get much easier than this if you ever decide you want to give it a try.
