Holy Cow, it is August!!! Here is what's on the Menu.

It is seriously hard to believe that it is already August.  This summer is just flying by.  Most of our July was spent remodeling the Master Bath.  Here are the results of all that hard work and disruption of life.  I would say it was well worth it.

As August begins we have a quiet week ahead of us.  A few doc appointments during the day including one on Monday to measure for our shower door. That is the last thing to be completed but the shower is usable as it stands.

We have moved onto the master bedroom.  No major renovations. Putting in new baseboard and painting the wooden trim to match the colors in the en suite.  Tami is also painting our bedroom furniture.  Here are some before photos.

We have three units that she will be painting.  Our headboard that contains drawers, cupboards, storage area and mirror.  Our dresser that contains a mirrored jewelry cupboard and the armoire, that she already put a coat of primer onto that holds our television and 3 dresser drawers.  I am anxious to see the finished project.  We ordered up a new adjustable split king bed frame and matresses along with sheets, pillows and a new comforter.  They are scheduled to arrive soon.

Tonight the Angel Face is spending the night with us.  Grampy is making her spaghetti for dinner.  It's her favorite.  The rest of the week is pretty quiet.  I'm hoping the weather is nice and we can hang out in the pool and do a lot of grilling.

I made a delicious dinner last week of stuffed pork rolls that I will be sharing with you on Thursday.  Making this dish left me with bones and scraps that I turned into a stock.  That stock along with leftover rotisserie pork loin is featured in this Weekly Menu.....
