An Algerian Chicken paired with Organic Wines from South Africa #EattheWorld #WinePW

When I was visiting my friend Linda in Tucson last month,  she gifted me a packet of Ras el Hanout that she had picked up during a cruise to northern Africa.  I decided to use it to make this Algerian Chicken dish.

Then, since I am hosting our Eat the World event this month, I invited the others to visit Algeria with me.

Oysters in Herb Butter with a Veramonte Chardonnay and a Book Review #WorldWineTravel

I received 3 lovely bottles of wine from Veramonte as samples of Organic Chilean Wines for our World Wine Travel group this month. I received no monetary compensation and all opinions are strictly my own.

Discovering Ziobaffa Wines #ItalianFWT

Zioboffa Organic Toscana is, as are many wines from Tuscany, a Sangiovese blend.  It pours a deep red and smells of flowers and fruit.  It is well balanced and a bit spicy....in other words, it is wonderful.

Drinking and Dining Sustainably and Organically featuring a Guyanese Chickpea Salad #EattheWorld #WinePW

This delicious and easy salad goes together in a snap.  The bright vinaigrette is perfect with the creaminess of the chickpeas.  I served it as a side salad but also enjoyed it for a light lunch one day with a glass of wine.
