These delicious little bites come together quickly and are a delightful appetizer. I served them along with shrimp cocktail and beverages while the ribs finished on the smoker, and the chicken was on the rotisserie while celebrating a dear friend's birthday.
Last year, I also celebrated the Letter M with Mushrooms when I served up these delicious Pork Chops in a Creamy Mushroom Sauce.

Steak and Mushroom Bites

Steak and Mushroom Bites
These tasty Steak and Mushroom Bites come together quickly and make a wonderful appetizer to serve with cocktails.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. Sirloin Steak, cut into bite-size cubes
- 1/2 t. sweet paprika
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 2 T. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 T. Dijon mustard
- couple of shakes of hot sauce
- 1 T. olive oil
- 2 T. butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz. mushrooms of choice, quartered
- 1 t. dried thyme, crushed
Instructions
- Place the steak into a bowl. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Toss to coat.
- Whisk together the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and hot sauce. Pour over the steak. Toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for a couple of hours.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and sear in the hot oil until browned. Remove to a plate and set aside.
- Add the butter to the skillet and cook the garlic until fragrant. Add the mushrooms and thyme and cook until golden brown. Remove to the plate with the steak and set aside.
- Add the marinade to the pan and bring to a boil. Cook until it has reduced slightly. Return the steak and mushrooms to the pan and cook until warmed. Use a slotted spoon to move the steak and mushrooms to a serving dish. Pour the marinade into a separate bowl to use as a dip.
