Fresh Kielbasa Sheet Pan Dinner

K is for Kielbasa.......
My blogging friends and I get together every other Wednesday to share recipes that start or feature ingredients as we work our way through the alphabet.  Let's take a look at the other K recipes being shared today........

Sheet Pan Dinner

This dinner does take an additional step from my usual sheet pan dinners.  I started off by parboiling the ingredients so that they would roast evenly.

This worked out very well using the fresh Kielbasa.  This step is not necessary if using smoked Kielbasa.

After parboiling, I spread it out onto a sheet pan so that it would brown up nicely and evenly.  It was delicious.

Last year, I celebrated the Letter K with Kwasnica, a Polish soup made with pork and sauerkraut.

  7. I had to google to find out what kielbasa was!

We tend to use smoked Dutch sausages in soups etc. I think the plan is that we will do that next week in fact. It is definitely soup weather here now!
