I had some Caramel Apple Tea in my cupboard. Perfect for making a rub for pork. This rub can be used on any cut of pork and is adaptable to any cooking method. I had pork chops that I removed from the bone and pan-fried. I topped them with fried apples and served them with mashed potatoes, buttered corn, and apple corn muffins.
Now that the weather is warming up, I will use this rub on a pork shoulder to put on the smoker. I might even experiment with using this tea to make a BBQ sauce to put on that pork once it is pulled. YUM!!

ReplyDeleteIt was very good Sneha.
DeleteI think it's so cool to bake with tea. I've used coffee for rubs and marinades for meat. I will have to try tea now.
