This colorful, delicious, healthy bowl makes a perfect meal when camping.  Of course, you don't have to be camping; I'm just lucky enough to be heading home from our first road trip in our new travel trailer.

Pesto alla Trapanese #MoviesandMunchies

This pesto, originating in Sicily, certainly does not get the attention it deserves.  The Sicilian version of pesto has a fresh tomato base, is full of herbs, and uses almonds instead of pine nuts. It is delicious!!!

I'm starting things off with a wonderful bottle of Cote des Roses wine from Gerard Bertrand.  I always have a bottle of this wine in my refrigerator during the summer months.
