Gruyère is such a great melting cheese. I haven’t had fondue in eons. I still have the forks and pot!
ReplyDeleteIt is worth revisiting, Karen.
DeleteI haven't had fondue in years! We went to the Melting Pot while we were dating, and for our first anniversary, then a handful of years ago. And we did do fondue with friends some time in 2021. Need to break out the fondue set. I do like Gruyere for sure.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy, Kelly.
DeleteI just happen to have a block of Gruyère I stuffed in the freezer last time we were going to be away for a few weeks that would be perfect for this fondue! Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy, Stacy.
DeleteYum, yum, yum...cheesy goodness! I would dip, dunk, and spoon with this fondue!!!
ReplyDeleteWe did, Colleen.
DeleteDon't know I've not tried making fondue from scratch. When winter begins, we do get the ready made one which we just warm up. We've still got cold weather, will try out this recipe.
ReplyDeleteEasy, Peasy Mayuri.
DeleteI have never made Fondue from scratch. The first time I had was at a fancy fine dine in place years ago, and with some cheesy twist, it was delicious..
