Sloppy Joe Cups
This easy dinner starts with a crescent sheet from the dairy section of your grocer, placed into a muffin tin, filled with sloppy joe mixture, and topped with cheese.
Prep time: 20 MinCook time: 20 MinTotal time: 40 Min
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 Vidalia onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 c. ketchup
- dash of hot sauce
- 1 T. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 can chicken gumbo soup
- 1 pkg refrigerated crescent sheet
- 1/2 c. shredded Colby Jack cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet, over med-high heat cook the ground beef with the onion and garlic, until browned and crumbly. Drain any liquid from the pan.
- Return the drained pan to the stovetop and stir in the ketchup, hot sauce, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce until beef is coated. Stir in the soup. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for about 15 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
- While sloppy joes are cooling open the refrigerated crescent sheet and lay the dough onto a flat surface. Cut the dough in half vertically and then crosswise in equal portions, making 8 pieces.
- Press each piece of dough into the bottom and up the sides of 8 muffin cups that have been treated with cooking spray.
- Place 1/4 cup of sloppy joe into each muffin cup. Sprinkle each with 1 Tablespoon of cheese and bake in a preheated 375* oven for 20 minutes.
