Hershey Bar with Almonds Bundt #BundtBakers

The Bundt Bakers are celebrating their Moms this month by baking up a bundt based on our Moms favorite candy bar.  My Mom's favorite was Hersheys Chocolate Bar with Almonds.

Patricia of Pat y co Candybar is hosting this month and invited us saying....
In May ... Let's remember our Mommy! What better way than baking her favorite chocolate bar in our Bundt Cake. It is our tribute Mami !!

What a fun theme.  Thanks Pato!!   Let's take a look at what everyone is sharing today.

Hershey Bar with Almonds Bundt

I started this cake with a boxed mix and gave homage to my Mom by adding crushed Hersheys Almond Bar to the cream cheese frosting and topping it with additional broken pieces.

So this is it.  My mom was the Queen of convenience food by the time I came along as the 5th out of 6 children.  My eldest brother is 17 years my senior and the brother closest to my age was 5 when I was born. My sister was born 6 years later.  By that point convenience food had turned into going out or ordering in LOL.  Can't say as I blame her.  I love being in the kitchen but that doesn't mean that I don't take shortcuts or enjoy meals out.

  3. Your siblings are incredibly far apart in age! I hope they all baked something to honor your mother this month. Hershey with almonds does sound good -- I haven't eaten one of those in ages (specializing in other candy bars).
