The Festive Foodies are having a Chili Cook Off today.......

Welcome to our #ChiliCookOff!

We have delicious recipes from across the country to get your chili making to the next level of delicious!

It is definitely Chili weather here in Michigan right now.  We have been having some beautiful Fall days that just scream for you to get out and take a walk in the woods.  This easy peasy and delicious chili is perfect for you to throw into the slowcooker before you leave.

I served this Chili up last weekend to the students in Frank's CPL class.  It was a huge hit.  I made it the day before his class and then just reheated it in the slow cooker during the morning.  Chili is one of those dishes that I always think tastes better on the second day, when the flavors have had plenty of time to meld together.

  3. It is time to break out the slow cooker to make some great cold weather food like this chili. That finishing touch of the cream cheese sounds like a winner to me.
