W is for Whiskey.......

It is also for wonderful, whimsical, warm, and welcoming.  All these adjectives describe this Whiskey Cocktail that you will be happy to serve up to your family and friends this holiday season.

A group of my blogging friends have joined me this year in an alphabet challenge.  Every other Wednesday we share a recipe that begins with a certain letter or features a food that begins with the letter.  We are already up to the letter "W".  We have had a lot of fun.  So much fun that we have decided to start all over again in 2025.  If you are a blogger who would like to join us in this challenge next year just leave a comment below and I will invite you to our Facebook group.

Let's take a look at the recipes being shared today.......

Espresso Martinis are all the rage right now.  While they are called Martinis and they are served in martini glasses they are not true martinis at all as they don't contain gin nor vermouth.  They are not ever a true vodka martini because, again, no vermouth.

But they are delicious and as much of a martini as a Cosmopolitan or any of the other fancy drinks out there that label themselves martinis.  This cocktail doesn't contain vodka but starts with a shot of Salted Caramel Canadian Crown Whiskey.

You can call it a cocktail.  You can call it a martini.  I call it Delicious!!!

  1. I'm not a big mimosa fan so I definitely could make this my go-to brunch cocktail!

  3. I have a couple cocktails that call for banana liqueur that I would like to try now! Is it bad to say that I hope it tastes like artificial banana flavoring? I love banana popsicles for instance but prefer fresh bananas a la carte.
