For These Things I am Grateful and the Weekly Menu including Thanksgiving.

Last night we celebrated Friendsgiving with a casual dinner and game night.  The Angel Face joined in the fun as her Parents were out having a date night.  Friends and Family are always first on my list of things for which I am thankful.

Hawaiian Grazing Board

I served a Tropical Dinner Buffet that brought back so many Memories of Vacations where I have enjoyed Scuba Diving, Hiking, Sight-Seeing, Relaxing, and Learning of Different Cultures. I am very fortunate to be able to Travel so often.

Tomorrow morning we will be singing at Mass.  God, Music,  and Community are things for which I am grateful.  On Monday we are heading to the west side of the state of Michigan to see our dear friend Sister MaryAnnFrank is making a large batch of his Chicken Noodle Soup to take to her.

We will enjoy lunch with Sister after which we will meet Amy and Doug at the casino and spend the night with them. Marissa and Rae are taking care of our Dogs while we are gone.

We will head Home on Tuesday, stopping at the market on the way to pick up all the necessary items for our Thanksgiving Feast.  We are having a Large Gathering with our Children, Grandchildren, Friends, Neighbors, and Family of Family.

On Wednesday I will attend my Exercise class.  The rest of the day will be spent preparing for the big day.  Friday will be a day of recuperation.  I will meet with my Hiking Group in the morning and spend the rest of the day Reading, Blogging, and eating Leftovers.

I am so fortunate to be able to spend my days doing the things that I enjoy and love.  Sometimes, in our busyness, we lose sight of the simple things that make life so wonderful.
