Lobster Roll BLT #FishFridayFoodies

Who says you can't have your Lobster Roll and BLT too?  The best of both worlds are combined in one delicious sandwich.

Lobster Roll BLT

The Fish Friday Foodies are talkin' Lobster Rolls this month...........
Cam of Culinary Adventures with Camilla is hosting and asked us to join her in celebrating National Lobster Roll Day saying:
National Lobster Roll Day is September 25th. Let's share favorite recipes for lobster rolls - or any seafood roll is fine! You can also share recipes for a lobster roll condiment or even the bread for the lobster roll.

Let's take a look at how everyone is preparing for the celebration........

Lobster Salad

I did share a lobster roll recipe with you once before back in 2017 that was inspired by a book I read called Sisters One, Two, Three.  I flavored that lobster salad with tarragon.

In this recipe I flavored the lobster salad with a bit of homemade pesto to tie in with the tomatoes from our garden.  It is a delicious sandwich and I could have eaten both of them but Frank has been working very hard on my kitchen so I shared with him.

Lobster Roll pin

This recipe makes 2 lobster rolls, if you are very hungry double the recipe so each person can have two or do as I did and serve up some potato salad with the sandwich.

If you are a food blogger and would like to join us each month as we create fish and seafood dishes based on a theme or ingredient leave your name and a link to your blog below so that I can send you an invitation.

  1. How "good" of you to share LOL! Making this into a BLT is genius!!! It sounds delicious.

  2. Looking at all that work he's done, Frank definitely deserved that lobster roll! Might generous of you. Haha. I love the idea of a lobster BLT. Good job.

    1. Yes, but Frank would have been just as happy, if not happier, with a plain old BLT.
