The Sunday Funday Bloggers are getting ready for the Holidays.......
Sue of Palatable Pastime is hosting this week and asked us to serve a Holiday Entree that wasn't Turkey or Ham.  I had a dinner party here to celebrate a birthday and roasted up this Loin Roast.  It is the perfect centerpiece for your holiday table.

Let's see what the others are showcasing today.......
A lot of great ideas for those who want to change things up for the holidays.  I do a lot of entertaining between now and the New Year and I'm anxious to try some of these amazing recipes.

My Thanksgiving Menu is complete and it is pretty traditional.  Last night we ate dinner out before going to a concert of a Tribute to Chicago.  For you youngsters out there Chicago is a band that had hit after hit all through the 1970's and 1980's.  The tribute last night was so much fun.

Thanksgiving Menu

This evening we are having some of our dive family over for a Friendsgiving. We are celebrating Thanksgiving Island Style.

Tomorrow I will be at the pantry all day distributing food baskets to those who are not as blesssed as I.  We give each family everything needed for a Traditional Turkey Dinner.  Tuesday and Wednesday will be spent getting ready for our feast (see menu above) on Thursday evening.

Friday, John and his family from North Dakota will be coming to join us for dinner and YES, I am serving them leftovers LOL.  This is the first holiday season without Kirsten and we are suffering the loss greatly.  I know that she will be smiling down upon us as we gather together.

You can read all about it in my Weekly Menu and then will find the recipe for this amazing roast at the bottom of this post.

I hope that you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday.  Are you serving traditional or going outside of the box?
