Hibiscus Iced Tea Margarita #IcedTea

This delicious Margarita is not only gorgeous to look at but it is refreshing and delicious as well.  A perfect summer cocktail to serve up poolside.

It's National Iced Tea Month........
Heather of Hezzi D's Books and Cooks invited us to join her in sharing Iced Tea Recipes in honor of June being National Iced Tea month.  I think Iced Tea is delicious all year long but especially during the hot summer months.  So darn refreshing!!

Obviously many others agree with me.  Check out these other delicious Iced Tea recipes for National Iced Tea Month:
The recipe I made for you today was inspired by an Agua de Jamaica that I made for a FoodnFlix event.   This recipe for Hibiscus Iced Tea was made with a concentrate that I not only used for the iced tea but also used to make a simple syrup that turned into this Martini that I serve up for another FoodnFlix event.

This simple syrup has since become a staple in my refrigerator.  Not only because it makes wonderful iced tea and iced tea based drinks but because when you order hibiscus flowers on Amazon they send you a big ol' honkin' bag of it.  LOL

I have also used these hibiscus flowers in a sweet bread with happy results.  But mostly I use it to make refreshing drinks to serve up to my family and friends when they visit.  The most popular of which is this Hibiscus Iced Tea Margarita.

So order yourself up some dried Hibiscus Flowers and make up some simple syrup.  You will have delicious Iced Tea and Iced Tea based drinks all summer long.  Cheers........
