The Last Week of October....Hello Holidays!!!

Wow....It's already the end of October...my goodness, time flies quickly around here.  The holidays are fast approaching, so hang onto your hats!!

Pumpkin

My house is ready anyway....I decorated for Halloween when we got home from Italy.....

I'm not sure that I'm ready, though.  We normally start off our Holiday celebrations with a Halloween Dinner with the neighbors in celebration of one of their birthdays.  However, I don't know if we will be doing that this Halloween, as Frank is scheduled for his right hip replacement on Monday.  We'll see if he is up to company in such a short time.

Tomorrow we leave for an out-of-town wedding.  We will be spending the night at a hotel near the venue afterward.  Then, Monday is the aforementioned surgery.  Tuesday evening, our youngest is going to take over caretaking for her dad, as I have dinner plans before a painting class at a local winery.

On Friday, our Little Miss M, is marching in a Halloween parade with her classmates.  I will be attending, as will Frank if he is feeling well enough.  If he is, indeed, feeling well as quickly as when he had his left hip replaced, we will also be having our annual neighborhood Halloween gathering, so I am writing my Weekly Menu in accordance with that plan.
