Celebrating the Angel Face's 6th Birthday and the Weekly Menu

Little girl with the number 6 balloon

We were unable to be with our Angel Face on her 6th birthday.  We hated to miss such an important day but the Teen's Godparents were getting married and that only happpens once in a lifetime as opposed to every year.

Bridesmaid

This was not only the first wedding in which she was a bridesmaid but the first wedding she had ever attended.

The Mass was lovely.  The reception was held at the Bride's parent's home in a 5000 foot tent.  The reception was casual with bonfires, games, dancing and a buffet dinner.  Social distancing was easy to achieve and each guest was given a wristband to wear indicating their level of comfort with contact.

We had a great time.  Frank even got onto the dance floor!!  Quite the accomplishment when only 5 weeks ago we weren't sure he was going to walk.

We are making up for missing the birthday party this weekend.  The Angel Face arrived last night and is staying with us until Sunday when Mama, Julien, Aunt Amy and Uncle Doug are joining us for her special birthday dinner.

She requested Spaghetti and Meatballs, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Roasted Broccoli and Strawberry Cheesecake.  That is, of course, exactly what she is getting.....with a little twist because Halloween is approaching.

This is our Weekly Menu including the Bootiful Birthday Bash......
