We are traveling to Venezuela today as we Eat the World.......
As you are reading this, I am in Greece with family and friends, hopefully relaxing poolside in warmth and sunshine. Knowing I would be on vacation for this event, I made my dish and scheduled this post in Mid-May, when the weather was not the best in Michigan.
Let's take a look at the Venezuelan recipes the others are sharing today......
These are just regular hot dogs, cooked as you desire. What makes them special is the toppings. I made a tray and let my family add the toppings they desired. Frank and I enjoyed ours with the works, while Melissa just added the sauce and potato sticks to hers.
Traditionally, hot dogs are boiled, but I just can't deal with them that way for some reason. I broiled mine, which is my alternative when I'm unable to grill them. I loved the toppings on these hot dogs. For some reason, dressing up a hot dog makes it feel more like a meal than a snack to me.
