Wooooo Doggie....This has been the longest 12 Days of Christmas ever!!! I would much rather spend my holidays celebrating than lying in bed. I am happy to report that I am getting back to life today!
I'm up, dressed and enjoying a cup of coffee before heading to my first fitness class of the year. I have not been out of the house since the day following Christmas. I am ready!!!
The Klik's celebrated Little Christmas yesterday. Frank and Dan were able to attend, however Rebecca and I both stayed home. I felt fine but was still coughing up junk and Rebecca is a few days behind me in her recovery.
I wasn't stagnant yesterday, though. While I did sit on my chair binging on old episodes of Survivor, I also planned and booked a trip with the Angel Face to go see our California family in April. Booked our flights and reserved rooms in Athens before our stay on Mykanos in June and reserved a camping spot at Jellystone Park in Frankenmuth with Frank's cousins in July. We will take Angel Face and Little Miss M with us and they will bring their grandsons.
I also looked at a Dive trip for the Spring and a camping trip to meet up with Chuck in the Fall but those are still in the planning stages and nothing is booked yet.
I had canceled our Little Christmas Dinner for tonight because I wanted to stay in all weekend to make sure that this bug is gone for good. I am going to make a dinner from Northern Italy tonight to pair with a wine I was gifted by the Garda consortium for a blog post. Stay tuned for those articles.
Happy New Year!!
