Happy First Day of Christmas. We spent this morning straightening up from yesterday's Birthday Celebration.
This afternoon, we went to the Fisher Theater for the Broadway in Detroit play, Shucked. I had no idea what to expect, but it was "Shuckin" good.
It was corny and fun. Lulu had the best one-liners. My favorites were “opinions are like orgasms, the most important is mine and I don’t really care if you have one” and “family is telling someone to go to hell, and then worrying they”ll get there safely” . Frank’s favorite also came from Lulu when she said “ if life were fair mosquitos would suck fat instead of blood”.
We received numerous gift cards to restaurants for Christmas. The kids know we go to the theater and are always looking for somewhere to eat, so they gave us lots of options.
Tonight, we went to Fogo de Chao, a Brazilian Steakhouse, on the way home from the show. It was our first time eating at a Brazilian Steakhouse, where you are given an unending choice of meats, served tableside, along with your sides from a salad buffet
The following 11 Days are filled with celebrations and festivities. Stop by each day as I tell you what's going on here on the Farm.....
