The Sunday Funday Bloggers are celebrating Junk Food today.....

Camilla of Culinary Cam is hosting this week, and Sneha of Sneha's Recipe is helping her out while she attends a family wedding this weekend.

Let's see what junk food everyone is eating today......

Dive Group Buffet

Each year, our dive family travels to Tobermory, Canada, to dive the shipwrecks that are abundant in the area.  We have never joined them, as I am not a fan of cold-water diving, but I had always wanted to join them to explore the area and do some hiking while they dove.

Since we got our travel trailer this year, we decided to join them.  They have an annual potluck in the parking lot where they stay.  Our campground was only 2 miles from their motel, so it made spending time with them easy.

Brownie Pizza

I brought this Brownie Pizza and it was a huge hit.  I made the brownie portion at home before we left, and then frosted it and added the fruit right before heading out to the party.  Easy, Peasy and Delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Brownie mix, I used Ghiradelli
  • 1 can cream cheese frosting
  • chopped fresh fruit for toppings, I used strawberries, blueberries and raspberries

Instructions

  1. Make the brownie mix according to package directions and spread onto a pizza pan that has been treated with baking spray. Bake at the recommended temperature, but for only half the time required on the package directions.
  2. Let cool completely. Before serving, spread with the frosting and sprinkle with the chopped fruit "toppings".

    1. Absolutely Karen, and for the purists out there you can use homemade brownies and cream cheese frosting.
