Heading towards Holy Week and the Weekly Menu

The 40 Days of Lent are coming to a close.  Soon we will be celebrating our Lord's resurrection and conquest over death.

Tonight is our second to last Fish Fry.  We have one more next Friday and then we start preparing in earnest for the coming of our Lord.

Tomorrow we sing at 4 pm Mass and then will be attending the High School play, A Seussical Romeo and Juliet.  Marissa gets extra credit for attending.  We will go out for dinner afterwards.

Sunday, Marissa is getting together with her sister for the afternoon and Monday is probably their last sibling therapy session.  This is because Marissa's adoption will be finalized Friday morning.  We are very excited but there is a tinge of sadness because the State has decided to allow the girls to be adopted separately.  Marissa's sister will be adopted by the foster family with whom she has been living.

The rest of the week is more of the same.  Gym in the mornings, track for Marissa each afternoon, prep for the fish fry on Wednesday and Thursday.

Friday morning, as stated, we are heading to court where Marissa Martnick will officially become Marissa Klik.  Many friends and family will be attending the ceremony and we will go out for brunch afterwards.  Then Marissa will return to school, I will return to work the final fish fry and Frank will attend Marissa's track meet after school.

My Weekly Menus have been adhered to haphazardly this month but it still helps me tremendously to plan them and have some sort of order to my busy weeks.
