Less than 2 weeks until Christmas and the Weekly Menu

Holy cow.....time is flying right by here.  We are having so much fun entertaining and spending time with family and friends.  My last dinner party was with my brother and sister in love on Thursday when they came for dinner and we made plans to head to the Keys in January.  Woohoooo, cannot wait.

We'll be staying here at the Holiday Inn and Dick and Jackie will be having their open water check out dives with Sea Dwellers Dive Shop.  The guy in the shop warned us that the water temps may be rather cool, currently they are only 77* LOL.......

Yesterday, Frank and I went out and bought toys for Santa to give to the kids whose families are getting Christmas Food Baskets next Saturday.   We have 57 children ages 13 and under who will be visiting Santa.  So much fun.  We grabbed Dinner out before heading home.

This afternoon we are heading over to the Scuba shop for their annual open house potluck.  We have Mass at 4 pm, so I am making a slow cooker meal to have for dinner tonight.

Tomorrow, Marissa and Kirsten, who is sponsoring Marissa for her confirmation, have a meeting at the church from 1:30-3 pm.  This is followed by our Choir Christmas Concert at 4 pm.  We will be going out for dinner afterwards.

On Wednesday we are hosting our Choir Potluck at the house as we have our final practice before Christmas.

Thursday night we are going out to dinner with Amy, Doug, Jessica, Julien and Melody.  Jessica, Julien and Melody are leaving for vacation on Saturday so we are celebrating Christmas early with them.

Friday is actually a free night.  We will spend it doing any last minute Christmas errands and getting ready for the Christmas Basket Distribution/Pizza Party for the Food Pantry on Saturday.

So here's what we're cooking up and eating this week.  What's on your menu during this busy time of year?

  1. I made your fudge, yesterday, from the original recipe. Turned out perfect and no candy thermometer! Thanks!
