Scenes from a Baptism and the Weekly Menu

Marissa's Baptism was truly amazing and special.  The ceremony was conducted by our Deacon who baptized Marissa as well as 3 infants.  Our friend, Catherine Nutter, did an amazing job of playing and singing this song that has very special meaning for Marissa.

Please join me as I share photos of the ceremony and the celebration that followed.......

Marissa, I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

The cake was made by our local Kroger.  They did a very nice job.

The Celebration.

As you can see it was an amazing day.  And the celebrations in this household are continuing all week long as we commemorate our Lord's birth.

Tonight John and Kirsten are joining us for dinner after they sing with Frank and the ensemble at 4 pm. Mass.

Tomorrow we sing at 11:30 Mass, the remainder of the day will be spent preparing Christmas Dinner.

Monday we will be celebrating Christmas Eve with dinner at Frank's brother's house followed by Midnight Mass.

Christmas Day, Frank will be singing at 11:30 Mass.  We will have an open house starting at 3 with a Dinner Buffet that our guests can help themselves to at their leisure.

Wednesday we hope to celebrate Christmas with Marissa's sister in the afternoon and Frank's Aunt and cousin in the evening.

Thursday and Friday are free right now.  We will be packing to leave for our trip to Arizona on Saturday.
