Progress Happening here on the Farm and the Weekly Menu

The Remodel:  The room is coming along nicely.  The floor is down and should be grouted today.  The tile should also be installed on the fireplace today.  Frank has started working on the wood for the trim around the windows, ceiling and floors.  It will be ready to install as soon as the grout is dry.

The Adoption: There was a team meeting held yesterday between all the caseworkers assigned to the girls.  They were to discuss how to go about transitioning the girls from their current placements into our home.  We are waiting to hear the results of that meeting.  Hopefully we will get a call later today.

The Farm:  My fruit trees are adapting nicely to their new home.  We have been working in the flower gardens and trimming bushes.  The pool is up and running.  It is gorgeous and the weather is hot again so we have been enjoying it immensely.  Yesterday, after we picked up the Angel Face from school we brought her back to play and Mama joined us here after work for dinner.  The chicken coop is in bad need of a cleaning so that is on the schedule for this weekend.

The Weekly Menu:  We are having our friend, Chris, over for dinner on Saturday.  Sunday we may go to the Farmer's Market where our son, Tony, is selling his wonderful jams.

  1. Oh your pool looks so inviting. I miss having the pool in our backyard. But it would be so crazy with just me here! So much work. Your menu looks great too. As usual. I'm praying daily for your adoption situation to be all that you want it to be!
