One thing about doing a remodel is that while it takes a looooong time, that time flies by because you are so busy. Over the weekend the mud guy came and finished off the walls, due to humidity the sanding of the walls didn't happen until Monday.
Yesterday and Thursday the installer of the WEDI shower system came in and got that completed. Today he is working on waterproofing the floorspace so the tile guy can come in. I'm getting very excited. My cabinets and counters are ordered and are being made. My shower bench top and the sills for the niches and shower threshhold should be here any day.
Today we were supposed to finally get our pool liner installed after weather delayed it last week. Unfortunately, it decided to have thunderstorms today. Now we are scheduled for Monday. Fingers crossed.
Saturday we are singing Mass for Kirsten's Birthday Rememberance. We had purchased tickets to attend a Moana stage play with Amy, Doug and the Angel Face without realizing that the two events collided. After Mass and the play we are meeting up with them for dinner to celebrate Father's Day for Frank. We gave our tickets to Mama and Julien so they will be joining us as well.
Nicole, Pierre and Tony all work in the restaurant industry so are not available at all this weekend. We will get together with them for lunch during the week to celebrate Father's Day.
Tuesday is Kirsten's actual birthday and John has invited us over for a Fish Fry to celebrate. I am taking an appetizer and dessert. The rest of the week will be spent working on the remodel during the day and relaxing by the pool as much as possible.
