Color Swap Reveal...

Last month I told you about a favorite color swap I had joined that was put together by the Chaotic Goddesses.  These ladies put together some wonderful swaps throughout the year.  When you sign up your are assigned another blogger.  This is a great way to meet people and network with them.  For this swap I was assigned Katy of Plays Well with Coffee.  Just so you get a little sense of how great and creative Katy is....she is married to a man whose last name is....you guessed it....Coffee.  I got such a kick out of that.

Katy is a new blogger and she has a wonderful blog where she shares snippets of her life, her favorite things, some recipes and some crafts.  In fact, her last blog that I read, gave detailed instructions for a Patriotic Rag Wreath just in time for Independence Day.  I never would have had the opportunity to meet Katy had it not been for this swap.

Katy's favorite color is turquoise so I did my best to provide her with things I hoped she would love. When I got my package today, I was pretty sure she would be happy with hers because my package from her was very similar to my package to her.  Please be sure to stop by Katy's blog and check it out.  You will also be able to see what I found for her to celebrate her favorite color.

You can see what all the participants received by going to the Show Off post.

My favorite color is brown but I know that is kind of boring to some so my next favorite color is yellow.  I sent both colors to Katy so I didn't get a surprise package filled with mud pies or dog doo LOL!!  Katy went all out when she was shopping for me.  I hit the jackpot.  I love that Katy paid attention to my blog and sent me things that would help me when making and posting recipes. Thanks Katie for such a wonderful and thoughtful swap package.  It was a pleasure getting to know you.

I got some sprinkles and sanding sugar for baking.  Some great straws that will be perfect for posting my next drink. A wonderful lemon balm candle.  A great lidded glass with a straw that will get good use all summer long.  A photo frame, a magnet and some Reese's pieces that I am enjoying as I write this post.

  1. Yay! I'm working on my post right now, but I'm glad you liked everything!!!! Have fun with it all! Thank you soooo much for everything and being an awesome swap partner!

And. I have to tell you: Mr. Coffee's last name is not Coffee. I started callin him that because I didn't know if he'd appreciate his name all over my blog. And - I used to play roller derby and the derby hubbies and boyfriends were always called Mr "insert part of roller girl name here". So. I went with it. He actually hates coffee hahahaha!

  2. How sweet! It's gotta be hard to find cute brown gifts, but she did great, especially with that tumbler and photo frame. And YUM Reece's! :D
