September was crazy around the Farm this year. We demolished and remodeled the kitchen. I have been sharing that journey as we went along on my facebook page but wanted to show you the finished project here on the blog.
It is completely finished, except we had a little oops with the corner cabinet door and we are waiting for a replacement.
Right in the middle of that little project we took off for a week of fun in the sun with some dear friends.
Frank and I found a nice chair to sit and relax when we visited Mambo Beach. Then when we stopped home for 2 quick days we pulled out another chair. This one for our grandbaby, Little Miss M, who is here with her Mama, our first exchange student.
Then we hopped on a flight to Atlanta, Georgia, where we spent a full day at the Georgia Aquarium and took a swim with the whale sharks. It was a whale of a good time.....get it? Whale sharks?? Never mind.
The following day we toured around the city and found another comfy chair in which to relax. After we were done relaxing we headed over to Coca Cola World which I found to be pretty interesting and then had dinner at Ray's Steak and Seafood, which was an amazing treat.
Our flight landed a few hours ago. When I got home we made a quick dinner of pasta and salad and visited with the Teen until her boyfriend got home from work and she rushed out the door. Laundry is in and I am happy to have a moment to sit in my easy chair and share A Day in the Life on the Farm with you.
I have been watching your travels with excitement and a tinge of jealousy. Are you home for a bit now?
ReplyDeleteWe are. Perhaps a quick couple day jaunt to see Jen and Randy. Missing them terribly. And just found out my son, Chuck, isn't able to come home for the holidays so perhaps a quick trip out to him but for the most part we are home until January.
DeleteLove your kitchen. Glad you guys had FUN trip.
