The last couple of gatherings we have had, we have started the night off with a wonderful fall cocktail.
We love to entertain and we had 2 large dinner parties last week. The first was on Sunday with our friends who went to Curacao with us as well as Don and Mickey who were not able to go but helped with all of the arrangements. This photo of us in front of the appetizer buffet was snapped by our friend Sharon who kindly sent it to me.
This cocktail was such a success that we decided to serve it again last night when we had the neighbors over for a birthday celebration. It is a perfect fall drink. Frank also created a virgin version for those who didn't wish to imbibe, substituting fresh squeezed orange juice for the Grand Marnier, and omitting the vodka. He used a Whiskey Maple Syrup for the alcoholic version and switched that out for pure maple syrup in the virgin versions.
Whether entertaining inside with a dinner party or outside around the bonfire with hot dogs on a stick, these cocktails are sure to bring some deliciousness to your fall festivities.
