Magical Weekend and the Weekly Menu
We have an amazing weekend coming up. This afternoon we are headed to the Fox Theater for the Rodgers and Hammerstein version of Cinderella starring Leslie Ann Warren. Readers who are of my generation might remember watching this version as children. I think it came on just once a year and I looked forward to it along with the yearly airing of Wizard of Oz and Heidi.
For my readers of a younger generation you read correctly. When your parents and I were young there were no movie channels or wifi or on demand. We would wait all year long to rewatch our favorite movies and if you missed them.....well, you waited another year.

Heading North and the Weekly Menu
The Teen has Spring Break all week so we are heading north for a few days. Yes, I know that during Spring Break you are supposed to go somewhere warm. However, we will make up for this at the end of next month when we head to Cayman Brac for a dive getaway.

Happy St. Pat's Day and the Weekly Menu
We celebrated my brother Dick's birthday last night. Of course, we had corned beef and cabbage followed by Birthday Cupcakes.
Prior to dinner we met at a restaurant for lunch and to celebrate our sister in law Rebecca's Birthday. This is why my Weekly Menu is being posted a day late....but not a dollar short because rumor has it that there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and I intend to find it!

Cheetoh Cheese Balls #NationalCheeseDoodleDay
Sometimes you just crave something ooey and gooey and good. You aren't worried about nutrition or health. You realize everything is good in moderation. That is where these delicious and easy cheese balls coated in Cheese Doodles (known as Cheetohs in Michigan) come in.
Fresh mozzarella cheese, wrapped in dough, coated in crushed Cheetohs, fried to a golden brown and rolled in more crushed Cheetohs.
That is how we celebrate National Cheese Doodle Day here on the farm!!
