These Irish Fish Cakes, starting with leftovers, are delicious. Should you not have leftover mashed potatoes and/or Cod Fillet you will want to make some just to enjoy this dish.
The Fish Friday Foodies are Celebrating Ireland today.....
It is with a heavy heart that I announce that this will be the final Fish Friday Foodie event. I started this group seven years ago and it was very well received and a great success. It is not surprising that after all this time our membership has gone down. Many of the original members are no longer blogging and those that remain have run out of fresh ideas for themes to host. It was a great run and I made a lot of wonderful friends that I know will be joining in new adventures with me.
This month I asked them to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with Seafood and Fish in place of Corned Beef and Cabbage. Let's see what everyone brought to the party.......
- Food Lust People Love serves up Ballymaloe Potted Shrimp
- Sid’s Sea Palm Cooking shares Boxty with Smoked Salmon
- Karen’s Kitchen Stories made Cod Soup
- Sneha’s Recipe has Dublin Lawyer (Shrimp in Irish Whiskey Cream Sauce)
- Faith, Hope, Love, & Luck Survive Despite a Whiskered Accomplice cooked up Fish & Potato Chowder with Irish Whiskey
- A Day in the Life on the Farm is serving Irish Fish Cakes
