You can use any citrus in this cocktail but the blood orange is what gives it it's lovely pink hue. If you don't have key limes you 1 regular lime. No oranges on hand? Try it with 1/4 of a grapefruit instead.

Mixed Citrus Daquiri
Key lime, blood orange, and kumquat juice sweetened with a bit of brown sugar and mixed with Rum before being garnished with fresh mint, this cocktail is as lovely to look at as it is to drink.
Prep time: 5 MinTotal time: 5 Min
Ingredients
- 2 key limes, cut into quarters
- 1 T. + 1 t. brown sugar
- 1/2 blood orange, quartered
- 2 kumquats, halved
- ice
- 4 oz. white rum
- mint leaves for garnish, if desired
Instructions
- Place the limes into a cocktail shaker with the brown sugar and muddle it together. Add the orange and kumquats and muddle until juices are released.
- Fill the cocktail shaker with ice, add the rum, and shake until icy cold.
- Pour into 2 rocks glasses and garnish with mint.
