I have green chartreuse and apple brandy... I bet it would still be tasty even though the color would be wrong. Sounds delicious.
ReplyDeleteI think the flavor profile would be different too, but still tasty. You could create a new cocktail!!
DeleteThe letter x IS very stressful. Your cocktail would definitely ease some of that pain, Wendy. It's such a pretty color!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Stacy.
DeleteThe flavors sound wonderful, and I have never tried Galliano but it sounds totally up my alley! I am definitely a gin girl but prefer not dry, so this would be perfect.
ReplyDeleteLots of herbal notes in this cocktail, Kelly.
DeleteA vibrant concoction, love the flavors in it!
ReplyDeleteThanks
DeleteCheers to making it through the letter X!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Jolene.
DeleteI've had the opportunity to taste Yellow Chartreuse and it is sweetish. Would love to make this cocktail as I love gin.
ReplyDeleteI used the Galliano, which gave it a more herbal note. I have never had yellow chartreuse but would love to try it.
DeleteI'm pretty sure that I have cherry brandy sitting around and one random bottle of fancy gin. I might just have to give this one a go, so that I can give it a taste! Amen to the Letter X being over...at least until next year!
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm already thinking of possibilities LOL.
