Cheeseburger Tacos
How about Cheeseburgers for your next Taco Tuesday? All the flavors you love in a cheeseburger, seasoned with taco seasoning and stuffed into a soft flour shell.
Prep time: 5 MinCook time: 15 MinTotal time: 20 Min
Ingredients
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) fire-roasted tomatoes with chiles
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 T. taco seasoning
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 c. shredded Mexican blend cheese
- 8 flour tortillas, taco size
- sour cream for serving, if desired
Instructions
- Cook the ground beef with the onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat until the beef is browned and the onion is softened and fragrant. Drain if necessary.
- Season with salt, pepper, and taco seasoning. Stir in the tomatoes and beans. Cook until hot.
- Stir in the cheese until melted. Divide between 8 flour taco shells and pass the sour cream, if using.
