Sufferin' Succotash it's the Weekly Menu #SundayFunday

Corn season has arrived in Michigan.  My husband is ecstatic, and I am here, once again, trying to think of applications for this vegetable that he insists on eating Every. Single. Day.  it is in season.

Succotash

I decided to ask the other Sunday Funday Bloggers to get corny with me so I could have some new ideas for this season.

This is a fun, easy dish to share at your Independence Day gathering.  While Red, White, and Blue may not be Eating a Rainbow, it is still eating colorful, healthy food that is as nutritious as it is delicious.

A Portable Orange Chardonnay Seltzer Perfect for a Picnic #WinePW

Ahhhhhhh....Summertime and the livin' is easy....

I love summertime in Michigan.  A lot of people like to vacation in the summer.  We may take some small trips, mostly in different parts of Michigan but for most of the summer there is no place I would rather be than in my own backyard.

Olivye (Ukrainian Potato Salad) and the Weekly Menu #MoviesandMunchies

We took a detour in Movies and Munchies this month and instead of watching a film we watched episodes of  Servant of the People starring President Zelensky before he was President of Ukraine and before the invasion.

Servant of the People (Netflix photo)

I have watched several of the episodes and I can see why Zelensky caught the heart of his people and won the election.  I'm not sure that I would have voted for the man strictly based on his portrayal of a president but, luckily, for the Ukraine he was up to the job.
