This delicious creamy dressing is perfect for whatever greens you are serving. Celery seeds add great flavor but can be a little bitter. I add some sugar to smooth the flavors out.

The dressing that I'm sharing is delicious on any greens, it has a touch of sweetness that I find complements most salads.
The recipe makes quite a bit of dressing. It can be halved if you like, but it refrigerates well and keeps for quite a while.
I was having a large gathering of 20 people and was serving dinner buffet style. I filled a large bowl with baby spinach. I added sliced red onion, bacon crumbles, and toasted almonds, tossed it with the dressing and it was greatly enjoyed by all.

ReplyDeleteI use it in my coleslaw also but mostly I use it when making pickles.
DeleteHave not used celery seeds so far. Making a creamy dressing using them is now on my list to try. And I love salad dressings that are made with yogurt.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy Mayuri, just make sure you don't overdo the celery seeds as they can be bitter.
