Enjoy these milk cookies with a big glass of cold milk. They are crispy, delightful and fun to make.
Jolene of Jolene's Recipe Journal invited us to join her today, Wednesday and Friday sharing recipes that pay homage to dairy foods. I know it is unusual but I am not sharing any savory foods this event, just some fantastic summer desserts that I hope you all enjoy.
Let's take a look at what the others brought to the party today.........
I had never heard of Milk Cookies but evidently they are very popular in India. I found this recipe on Times of India. They are very simple cookies, remeniscent of our butter cookies. My grand niece graduated high school this year and I made these up to take to her celebration.
I was going to make stars and decorate them with blue and gold as those are her school colors but when I pulled down my baking supplies I found tons of colors but no blue. So I switched to flowers and butterflies instead so I could use what I had on hand.
