These savory muffins are so amazingly delicious. They are perfect for anywhere you would want to serve a cheesy garlic bread but better because they are portable. They will be a welcome addition to your next picnic, bbq or potluck.
Savory Cheese Muffins
Yield: 12 servings

These garlicky muffins are filled with two different cheeses and sweet onion bits. They are the perfect side dish for whatever you are cooking up for dinner.
ingredients:
- 2 c. flour
- 3 T. sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 T. baking powder
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 small sweet onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. melted butter
instructions:
How to cook Savory Cheese Muffins
- Combine the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, Mozzarella, Parmesan, onion and garlic in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the milk and butter. Add the egg and whisk until incorporated.
- Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour the milk mixture into the well. Stir with a wooden spoon until just combined.
- Divide between 12 cups of a muffin pan that has been treated with cooking spray or lined with paper cups.
- Bake in a preheated 425* oven for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and a skewer inserted removes cleanly.
