Living in Michigan it is easy to see why this month was chosen to celebrate hamburgers. As soon as the weather gets nice the first thing I want to do is break out the grill and make burgers. I'm not really choosy either. The burgers can be made with beef like these Sweet and Smoky Cheddar Burgers, pork like these Bratwurst Burgers, or lamb like these Greek Burgers. You can always enjoy Turkey Burgers , or Salmon Burgers if you are trying to stay away from red meat.
I could go on and on regardless of what meat you use or if you use no meat at all and just grill up a Portabella Mushroom cap. That's because I think burgers are all about the fixin's and this burger has wonderful toppings that will make you feel like you are on vacation in beautiful Hawaii enjoying watching the hula dancers.
