When you think of John Legend you may think of his music, which is amazingly beautiful. You may think of his role on The Voice where he playfully and charmingly banters with Blake Shelton. You might think about his marriage to actress, Chrissy Tiegen, or maybe you remember that he was chosen by TIME magazine as one of the most influential people in 2017.
But do you think of wine when you think of John Legend?
I was first introduced to the Legend Vineyard Exclusive when I was at Coopers Hawk Winery and Restaurant one evening. They were featuring this wine made in corroboration with Legend and winemaker, John-Charles Boisset of Raymond Vineyards in Napa Valley, California.
When Nicole of Somm's Table invited us to celebrate Black History Month by featuring BIPOC Winemakers and Winery owners, I knew immediately that I wanted to feature John Legend.
I'm anxious to see who the others chose to showcase....Let's take a look......

Oh, my goodness. I totally have a crush on that man. LOL. And I especially love how you enjoyed this while watching him sing to our new administration!
ReplyDeleteMe too Cam...I am opening up another bottle to serve with my Chinese New Year feast tonight.
DeleteI think this guy lives up to his name. Love everything he puts his hands on! Thanks for sharing this wine with us!
ReplyDeleteThanks Terri. I agree.
DeleteThat interview is really wonderful. I do love his music. I was watching along with you on Inauguration night. I have a friend who was one of the technicians working on that magical event by the Lincoln memorial. Thanks for the introduction to this wine and label. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Robin.
DeleteI so enjoyed this post! And I'm certain you would've given Chrissy Tiegen a run for the money. I also love that we were both respectively enjoying our wines for this month while celebrating Inauguration Day!
ReplyDeleteIt called for a celebration for sure
DeleteI like the sound of the rosé and the fish pairing!
ReplyDeleteIt was very nice David.
DeleteI have yet to try his wines, but keep meaning to. And what a perfect time to enjoy it while watching the inauguration.
ReplyDeleteIt was for sure.
DeleteThis is the first time I'm hearing of LVE wine. Maybe had my head under a rock? I can't explain it. Thanks for the info!
ReplyDeleteI would have never learned of it had it not been featured at the winery I was visiting.
DeleteWendy - I loved your post and I am excited to watch the video. I knew he was interested in making a wine but never knew he actually did it. I love the end of your story watching Biden and Harris. Perfect pairing. Cheers Wendy, Susannah
ReplyDeleteCheers Susannah.
DeleteI've actually been to Coopers Hawk winery. My cousins took me there during a family reunion in Chicago several years ago. Thanks for the introduction to LVE. The rosé sounds delightful
ReplyDeleteThanks Martin. We enjoy going to Coopers Hawk even if it is the only game in town.
