Looks like a lot of us were on the same page. I wonder if they served their corn muffins up with soup or stew as well.

Honey Cornbread Muffins
These corn muffins sweetened with honey are the perfect accompaniment to a bowl of hot soup or stew on a cold winter's night.
Prep time: 5 MinCook time: 15 MinTotal time: 20 Min
Ingredients
- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1 c. flour
- 1 T. baking powder
- 1/2 c. sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 4 T. butter, melted and cooled
- 1/4 c. honey
Instructions
- Whisk together the flour, cornmeal, baking powder, sugar and salt. Set aside.
- Whisk together the milk, eggs, butter and honey. Pour into the flour mixture and stir just until combined.
- Divide between 9 muffin cups that have been lined with paper liners or sprayed with baking spray.
- Bake in a preheated 400* oven for 15 minutes, until golden brown and a skewer inserted into the center of a muffin removes cleanly.

DeleteWe do serve cornbread with soup on occasion but it's a must if we are eating chili. Your honey muffins would be popular at our house as well, Wendy.
