Have a Hauntingly Bootiful Weekend; Here's the Weekly Menu

We celebrated our Halloween earlier this week with a Pirate Bite Food and Wine Pairing Dinner.   It was a great time with good friends.

I won't be serving anything quite this fancy for dinner this week but I do have some fun meals to share with you.....
Halloween is usually pretty quiet out here in the country.  The Teen carved pumpkins at her boyfriend's house this year so we didn't even get to share in that fun.  We fail to carve pumpkins once in a blue moon.

Get it?  We have a blue moon this Halloween.  Oh, never mind........

We already voted so we won't be heading to the polls on November 3rd.  If you haven't voted yet please make sure your voice is heard in this election.

Not a whole lot planned for this week.  Fall yard work, food pantry stuff and hopefully a visit to Aunt Irene.

There is a lot of blogging planned though so I will be sharing something new here each day.  Starting with an invitation for you to join me in watching Knives Out for FoodnFlix this month.  That invitation will be followed by recipes for Pecan Crusted Pork Chops, Sweet Potato Salad, a Coffee Cocktail inspired by a novel I read, Maple Glazed Delicata Squash, a Gluten Free Pasta Dish, a Brinner Meal inspired by another novel and a seasonal Apple and Kohlrabi Slaw.

And we will be having dinner each and every night.  Here is what's on the menu this week.  What's cooking over at your house?
